The Global Center on Adaptation has launched a Regional Center for South Asia in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Center will act as GCA's Global Hub on Locally Led Adaptation (LLA).
Bangladesh is already historically informed in promoting LLA through a whole-of-society approach by the government and NGOs. If all sectors in Bangladesh can join forces to work together effectively, the country can indeed become the world leader in LLA.
