The Local Adaptation Champions Awards were, organized by the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA), were announced on 12th November 2022 at the COP27 climate summit in Egypt.
Swayam Shikshan Prayog won the award in the ‘capacity and knowledge’ category for the work in supporting women farmers to adopt more resilient and sustainable agricultural practices in Marathwada in Maharashtra.
