A bottom-up approach to capacity-building to enhance resilience at the local level is the key to address the risks that climate change poses to local actors. Locally Led Adaptation is highly important as it provides an opportunity to localize the concept of adaptation while working with communities. Using local communities’ experiences and generational knowledge helps to collectively build new paths leading to a climate resilient future.
